Pseudoscalar-meson decays into lepton pairs

Abstract
Some model-insensitive relations concerning decay amplitudes are obtained and discussed. They are useful to discriminate among different theoretical predictions. Their vilolation by the experimental data (as seems already to be the case) should reveal the existence of new, unconventional effects.
