Abstract
A high degree of purification of Clostridium botulinum type E toxin was obtained by the elution of toxic preparations, either crude or trypsin activated, through ion exchange cellulose columns. The purified toxic fractions thus obtained are composed chiefly, if not entirely, of protein.Keywords
