Abstract
This second edition of Intensive Review of Internal Medicine offers a dynamic approach to the broad field of internal medicine. A homestudy course, it includes audiocassettes of lectures that are transcribed verbatim in the accompanying two-volume textbook. The books are well written, with good illustrations. The cassettes are of high quality, and the professional speakers' deliveries are easy to follow.As with any review course that attempts to encompass the broad scope of internal medicine, choices have been made about what to include and what to omit.
