Abstract
Variations in centromeric staining of [human] chromosome 19 appear to be an uncommon polymorphism inherited in a Mendelian manner and easily seen in G[Giemsa]-banded cells. It should not be misinterpreted as a structural cytogenetic abnormality.Keywords
