Pseudosarcomatous Dermatofibroma

Abstract
Under the title ``Pseudosarcomatous Dermatofibroma,'' two cases are presented of a benign dermal connective tissue tumor with close histologic resemblance to lesions of the subcutaneous or deeper fascial planes which have been termed "subcutaneous pseudosarcomatous fibromatosis.'' It is our impression that pseudosarcomatous dermatofibroma may be a variant of the banal dermatofibroma but with a cellular atypia so pronounced as to make them easily confused with sarcomas.
