Abstract
Conjugated dienes of fatty acids were detected in cholesterol esters in lipid droplets prepared from atherosclerotic aorta of WHHL rabbits. Two peroxidized fatty acids were recovered by reverse phase HPLC. These peroxidized fatty acids showed maximum absorption at 233nm, suggesting that they were peroxidized lipids containing cis-trans conjugated diene, and one of them was shown to be 13-hydroxy octadecadienoic acid. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
