Abstract
A group of patients with essential hypertension were treated on a diet low in Na (200 mg.) but normal in other constituents. The results appear better or as good as other types of treatment. It is suggested that abnormal electrolyte metabolism may be an important factor in the pathogenesis of this disease. Keywords
