Abstract
A magnetic amplifier used at 4.2°K to measure small dc voltages is described. A sensitivity of 5×10−3 μV was obtained without any precaution other than second harmonic detection for eliminating ac noise. Suggestions for increased sensitivity and comparisons with other techniques are given. Keywords
