Abstract
Spontaneous pancreatic-bronchial fistula occurred as a rare terminal complication in a patient with chronic relapsing pancreatitis. The presence of a pancreatic-jejunostomy constructed at a previous laparotomy led to a secondary problem. Positive-pressure respiratory assistance required for pneumonia forced air through the fistula into the small bowel, resulting in severe meteorism.
