Calculation of the migration barriers in cesium halides

Abstract
The migration energy of free vacancies in CsCl-type crystals is related to the elastic-stiffness constants. The calculated values are compared with the experimental energies of monovalent ions in CsCl, CsBr, and CsI.Keywords
