Abstract
Corey and Suggs1 have recently indicated that hydroxyl functions may advantageously be protected as allyl ethers. In their publication, a method for selective removal of the blocking group through isomerization of allyl ethers to l-propenyl ethers by Rh(I) complexes followed by acid hydrolysis has been delineated. Keywords
