Abstract
The time-dependent backflow of charge around a moving ion in a model molten salt, reported by Hansen and McDonald (1974) is analysed in terms of the flow of mass and charge associated with a cation-anion pair. Simple parametrizations of the data are given by the memory function approach. Keywords
