Abstract
The refractive index of benzene, carbon tetrachloride, n‐hexane, n‐heptane, n‐octane, and n‐dodecane has been calculated at 298 K and 632.8 nm for pressures up to 100 MPa. Agreement with the experimental data and recent theory, for benzene and carbon tetrachloride was in the fourth decimal place of refractive index. Keywords
