Abstract
Of several hundred compounds tested in the laboratory, N-pentylphthalimide was the 1st to give greater repellency to adult flour beetles (Tribolium spp.) than the standard of pyrethrum synergized with piperonyl butoxide. The test method involved confinement of the beetles on arenas composed of equal areas of treated and untreated kraft paper, and determination of the deviation from an established normal over a 5-day period. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
