Abstract
In this paper, we initiate a study into the combinatorial aspects of a model of the interactions between discrete magnetic domains and their potential use in information processing devices. Starting with a simple model suggested by W. Shockley, we demonstrate certain (surprising) capabilities as well as inherent limitations upon the possible applications of the interactions described by this model. It should be noted that this simple model does not take into account all of the possible interactions between magnetic domains. Keywords
