Abstract
The nucleon-nucleon phase shifts are calculated by adding the exchange of the scalar-isoscalar meson to our previous calculations based on the universal theory of primary interactions proposed by Sudarshan. Some improvements are obtained. In particular, the , , and results are good for and a hard-core cutoff at 0.4 F.
