Abstract
It is shown that for molecules of Allochromatium vinosum [NiFe]-hydrogenase adsorbed on a pyrolytic graphite electrode the nickel–iron active site catalyzes hydrogen oxidation at a diffusion-controlled rate matching that achieved by platinum.Keywords
