Abstract
When injected intravenously into rats anesthetized by ethanol, lysine vasopressin causes an antidiuresis that is as intense as that caused by arginine vasopressin. Its duration is, however, less. Accurate quantitative comparison of the two vasopressins in terms of this assay for antidiuretic activity is impossible unless antidiuretic activity be rigidly defined. Keywords
