Abstract
Plunge-dipping was carried out using an arsenical dip (sodium arsenite) and six organo-phosphorus compounds (diazinon, “Bayer S 1752,” “Lucijet,” “Asuntol,” “Nankor,” and “Delnav”). A complete kill of body lice (Damalinia avis) was recorded with all dips. Dipped sheep were run with untreated louse-infested sheep, and periods of two to five months' freedom from louse re-infestation were recorded. Keywords
