“Ivory,” an Eye-Color Mutation in Tribolium castaneum1

Abstract
The first reported mutation in Tribolium castaneum Herbst was pearl (Park 1937). Since that report (mainly within the last 5 years) 8 of the 10 linkage groups have been marked (see Sokoloff and Davvson 1963 for a fairly complete literature citation). This note describes an eye-color mutation (ivory, i) which closely resembles but is nonallelic to pearl.
