Abstract
A new in vitro model was elaborated for the simulation of human plasma concentration curves based on the 2-compartment open model. The new method consisted of a procedure in which vessels containing water or an aqueous solution of a drug were simply connected in a line and the contents were made to flow at a constant rate from one side to the other. The model is expected to be useful for the study of, for example, the in vitro antibacterial activity of antibiotics whose concentrations change according to the 2-compartment open model. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
