Abstract
The partial structure factors and radial distribution functions for molten CuCl at 713 K have been determined by the scattering of neutrons from samples of varied isotopic composition. A marked difference is observed between the Cu-Cu and Cl-Cl distributions. The data are discussed in terms of both a hard sphere model and an associated (covalent type) molecular model. Keywords
