Abstract
We present a study of the aggregation kinetics of macroscopic particles in a suspension, as a function of the shear rate and of the surface concentration of particles. The kinetics are found to obey classical scaling laws. By introducing a set of characteristic times, the results can be expressed in a universal form independent of the experimental conditionsKeywords
