Abstract
The features and implementation of Pdbq, a special-purpose, interpreted language based on the C programing language, are described. Pdbq provides data types, control structures, operators, and built-in functions for specifying visualization mappings. The language arose from research into the specification of novel geometries from molecular data. Pdbq's data types, flow control, built-in functions, and global variables are discussed. Visualization examples using the language are presented.Keywords
