Abstract
The dispersion of the refractive index of liquid nitrobenzene has been evaluated in the wavelength range 200-700 nm using a Kramers-Kronig analysis of reflectance data. This information is useful for correction of liquid nitrobenzene Raman cross section measurements for local field effects. The results are compared with directly measured refractive index values in the range 434-656 nm and with other published results. Keywords
