Abstract
Three cases of zoster seen in children with malignant disorders are reported and 14 additional cases are reviewed in the literature. Hodgkin's disease and leukemia were most frequent. There was found to be an increased disability associated with zoster infections. The increased severity of zoster and greater frequency of its complications in children with malignant diseases, especially lymphoma, resemble the course of zoster in adult patients who are similarly affected. It is in marked contrast to the benign uneventful course of zoster seen in healthy children. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
