Abstract

Following a formal taxonomic descr., the characters by which this sp. is distinguished from P. farinosa L. and P. scandinavica Bruun are enumerated. This sp. is endemic to the British Isles and a detailed map of its entire known distr. is given. Data of the ecological amplitude, morph. and biology of the plant are presented.
