Abstract
A pulsed drift-tube technique has been employed to measure electron attachment coefficients in CF4. Previous measurements have been extended from approximately 45 Td to approximately 20 Td showing a decrease in the reduced attachment coefficient of approximately 2 orders of magnitude through this range of E/N. Absolute attachment coefficients as low as 1*10-4 cm-1 have been determined. Keywords
