Abstract
Three new brachiopod genera are described from the New Zealand Permian: Notostrophia with type species Notostrophia homeri n.sp., family Schuchertellidae, from Aktastinian beds of the Takitimu Group, Southland; Capillonia, type species Lissochonetes brevisulcus Waterhouse (1964b), family Chonetidae, widespread in South Island in beds of Kalabaghian (lower Capitanian) and younger age; and Lethamia, type species Lethamia ligurritus n.sp., family Overtoniidae, from the Kazanian Mangarewa Formation, Southland.Keywords
