Abstract
It has been found that the amorphous powder of a transition metal - metalloid alloy can be prepared by the spark erosion technique. The powder consists of roughly spherical particles whose diameters are ranging from 0.5 μm to 30μm. The preparation procedure of the powder is described and its magnetothermal characteristics and the crystallization behaviours are discussed. Keywords
