Abstract
The binding energy and single-particle energies have been calculated for using reaction matrix theory and a meson-theoretical nucleon potential due to Green and Sawada. The binding obtained is 7.2 MeV/nucleon after Coulomb and center-of-mass corrections, in reasonable agreement with the experimental 7.98 MeV/nucleon.
