Abstract
Nine patients 15 to 28 years old underwent placement of the artificial urinary sphincter around an internal intestinal urinary reservoir. A total of 15 complications was experienced in 8 patients and 13 secondary procedures were necessary. Eight patients are completely continent and 1 has nighttime enuresis. The most common complication encountered was reduction in bowel luminal circumference underlying the sphincter cuff. Keywords
