Abstract
Positive and negative charge carrier mobilities in pure water vapour have been measured under conditions of liquid-vapour equilibrium in the temperature range of 20-70 degrees C. Both signs of charge carriers have the same measured mobility and evidence is given for heavy ion clustering. These data are explained in terms of the Chapman-Enskog kinetic theory mobility equation and the clustering is shown to obey a thermal dissociation law. Keywords
