Abstract
Perfusion defect in the dynamic study and slow filling of the lesion by a blood pool agent were observed in three cases with large cavernous hemangiomas of the liver. This finding is explained by the low perfusion and the large blood volume of cavernous hemangiomas. When such a lesion is suspected a late blood pool study should be performed in order to demonstrate the true vascularity of the lesion. Keywords
