Tension Pneumocephalus after Trans-sphenoidal Hypophysectomy: Case Report

Abstract
Tension pneumocephalus may occur spontaneously or may complicate a compound basal skull fracture or a cranial operation. We report a unique case of tension pneumocephalus after trans-sphenoidal hypophysectomy that may have developed because of the presence of an external lumbar subarachnoid drain.
