Abstract
A simple method is described for determining qualitatively the polarization of Raman lines. The incident light is polarized by means of ``Polaroid.'' One of the arrangements used permits very high intensity of incident illumination. A brief statement of the theory of the method is given, and experimental data on acetic acid, acetone and ethanol are presented. Keywords
