Abstract
Improved diagnosis has made drug treatment of uterine fibroids more of a reality. For long-term use, conclusions cannot yet be drawn on the merits of LHRH analogues administered alone or in sequence with other agents. However, such treatment enables preservation of reproductive function, whilst avoiding potential sequelae of surgical myomectomy. Keywords
