Abstract
We discuss the relevant observables, near the resonant peak, characterizing the interactions of a new neutral gauge boson Z′ for the process pp → l+l− at SSC and LHC. Some of these observables are sensitively dependent on a high resolution. Numerical examples are given for a heavy Z′ (~1 TeV ) and for some models motivated by superstrings. Keywords
