Abstract
We calculate the vector-isovector hadronic current correlation function in the presence of nuclear matter. We find that the rho mass decreases by about 20% at nuclear matter density and the rho width is reduced by about 35%. These results are in general accord with the results of calculations made using QCD sum rules. In our calculations, and in the QCD sum-rule calclations, the main effect considered is reduction of the value of the quark condensate in the presence of matter. That reduction is here assumed to be 35% at nuclear matter density. Keywords
