Abstract

Sambonia parapodum n. sp. is described from Varanus salvator as the 4th member of the genus after Megadrepanoldes. Self and Kuntz, 1957, with its 2 species, is relegated to synonymy with Sambonia based on Fain''s (1961) redescription of the latter. Armillifer agkistrodontis n. sp. is described from Agkistrodon acutus.
