Abstract
Peaker A. (1971) Regional growth and economic potential—A dynamic analysis, Reg. Stud. 5, 49–54. The concept of economic potential was introduced by C. Clark as a possible tool to be used in explaining past patterns of regional development and in forecasting future patterns of growth. This paper accepts without question that some measure of economic potential can be used to explain the spatial pattern of capital formation and investigates the consequences of making such an assumption. Keywords
