Abstract
A phenomenological model is proposed for the kinetics of oscillating oxidation of CO on SiO2‐supported Pt pellets. The numerical solutions are in qualitative agreement with experiments. The surface temperature, as opposed to the ambient temperature, plays a crucial role.Keywords
