Abstract
To test the similarity between thermally induced ordering and irradiation induced ordering, a series of commercial Fe-Ni samples have been irradiated in the presence of a saturating magnetic field. Square hysteresis loops were found for all the samples irradiated in this manner. Such results are consistent with the proposal that directional short range ordering and consequent uniaxial anisotropy has been created by the neutron irradiation. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
