Abstract
The Allard-Laurens intracardiac manometer has been found to give clear records of pressures and sounds within the heart. Elimination of transmission delay and the damping effect of a long saline column on the pressure tracing allow a more confident assessment of the relation between pressure change and heart sounds and murmurs. Keywords
