Abstract
The inability of plant cells to utilize auxin properly following irradiation with 245 nm ultraviolet radiation appears to be due to a radiation-induced interference with RNA and protein metabolism. This conclusion is in line with data showing a synergistlc interaction between anti-metabolites and antibiotics which suppress RNA and protein metabolism and lack of interaction with anti-DNA compounds. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
