Abstract
The performance check list is an effective tool for teaching and evaluating. Inservice educators will find it extremely helpful for teaching special skills and procedures during the orientation of new nurses (particularly recent graduates) and in many other situations. This article describes the use of a performance check list for teaching nursing staff to conduct a basic neurological assessment. Keywords
