FDA Seeks Input From Stakeholders

Abstract
The FDA is seeking input from its stakeholders—"appropriate scientific and academic experts, health care professionals, representatives of patient and consumer advocacy groups, and the regulated industry"—to help determine priorities and plans for the agency as it implements the FDA Modernization Act of 1997. The Act sets a deadline of November 21, 1998, by which the agency is to have developed and published a plan for complying with each of its obligations under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
