Abstract
We analyze a general pseudo-spin model hamiltonian by a self-consistent reformulation of Kubo's cumulant expansion. We specialize it to study the model of ferroelectric phase-transition of Blinc and Svetina and express the behaviour of the free energy and of the polarization vs. T.Keywords
