Abstract
The pure rotational Raman spectrum of C6H3D3 vapor at a pressure of 15 cm. Hg was photographed in the second order of a 21 ft. grating. The value of the rotational constant was found to be B0 = 0.17165 ± 0.0001 cm−1. This result confirms the earlier spectroscopic values of the internuclear distances in the benzene molecule. Keywords
