Abstract
The heats of combustion of ethylenediaminetetra-acetic acid and diethylenetriaminepenta-acetic acid have been measured by use of a static bomb calorimeter. The results have been used to calculate the standard heats of formation: –ΔHf°(C10H16O8N2,c)= 420·5 ± 0·2 kcal. mole–1, –ΔHf°(C14H23O10N3,c)= 531 · 9 ± 0·2 kcal. mole–1Keywords
